FilMelange is the ultimate cut-and-sew brand, founded in the spring of 2007.
The name FilMelange means "mixed-color (Melange) yarn (Fil)".
This refers to the heathered yarn that has been used for T-shirts and sweatshirts since ancient times.
Our products are carefully crafted using selected natural materials to create soft, light, and beautiful fabrics, woven with a focus on colors for "daily life" that are unpretentious, suit everyone, and are loved across generations. They are meticulously tailored by artisans worthy of being called Japanese masters.
FilMelange conducts thorough in-house development, from the selection of the raw material "cotton" to the "yarn," "fabric," and "sewing."
Furthermore, we are committed to Made in Japan and are involved in training future artisans at our own factory.
