BLESS

BLESS is a design team founded by Desiree Heiss and Ines Kaag.
They started their activities in Berlin, Germany, and are now based in Berlin and Paris.
Desiree Heiss was born in 1971.
Ines Kaag was born in 1970.
Both studied fashion at university.
They met in 1993 while still in university and hit it off.
They began their collaborative design activities in 1995.
Their first design was a poster created in 1995, followed by an advertisement for i-D magazine in 1996.
This advertisement, designated as "N°00", became BLESS's first creation.
In 1997, BLESS was established as a company.
With a strong conceptual element, they spend a lot of time generating ideas.
Rather than creating entirely new things, they generate value by using past materials based on thorough research.
Their products are numbered, such as "N°00" and "N°05."
They also create original collections, presenting collections of clothing and accessories, while actively engaging in project work.
