The theme for the 2026SS Collection is "Just Do What You Want," a quote from THE ROOSTERS' famous song "Koi wo Shiyou yo" (Let's Fall in Love).
The rooster pattern, due to its brave figure of cutting through the darkness and heralding the dawn, has been cherished since ancient times as an auspicious motif symbolizing "heroism," "justice," and "awakening."
This design deeply respects the traditional Japanese meanings of "heroic fighting spirit" and warding off evil.
For the fabric, we adopted a rayon fabric created using the "crepe weave" technique, a traditional Japanese weaving method.
The silhouette features a relaxing open collar, expressing the languid passion and edge of music.
The unique crinkled texture, also found in kimonos and yukatas, combined with the beautiful drape characteristic of rayon, creates a vintage-like charm and an exquisite feel against the skin.
In the printing process, skilled artisans in Kyoto performed "hand-printing" using the "discharge printing" method, which removes the fabric's color to create the pattern. This achieves vivid, deep, and brilliant coloration without compromising the original soft texture of the material.
This garment is where traditional Japanese beauty and music culture intertwine.
