It's a quote from THE ROOSTERS' famous song "Koi wo Shiyou yo" (Let's Fall in Love).
The rooster pattern, due to its valiant appearance as it pierces the darkness and announces the dawn, has long been cherished as a highly auspicious motif symbolizing "heroism," "justice," and "awakening."
Deep respect is paid to the traditional Japanese meanings of "heroic fighting spirit" and warding off evil.
The material used is rayon fabric created with the technique of "chirimen" (crepe weave), a traditional Japanese weaving organization.
The silhouette features a relaxing open collar, expressing the languid passion and edge of music.
The unique crinkle texture, also used in kimonos and yukatas, and the beautiful drape characteristic of rayon create a vintage-like allure and an exquisite feel against the skin.
In the printing process, skilled artisans in Kyoto use "hand-printing" and the "discharge printing" (bassen) method, which removes the fabric color to create the pattern. This achieves vivid and deep, brilliant colors without compromising the fabric's inherent soft texture.
This garment is where traditional Japanese beauty and music culture intersect.
