ED ROBERT JUDSON Molded Purse "BLACK"
This series incorporates the "shibori" (molding) technique, which uses a wooden mold to three-dimensionally shape leather, taking advantage of its plasticity.
The process, which begins with wood carving, is completed with skilled craftsmanship and time.
The storage compartment is made using leather molding, while the flap is folded like origami, creating a design that merges three-dimensional and two-dimensional techniques. The flap functions as a coin tray, offering excellent visibility.
