FRED PERRY
Fred Perry was founded in 1952 by Frederick John Perry, a tennis player from Stockport, England, who named the brand after his nickname.Frederick John Perry was one of the top players of his time, achieving three consecutive Wimbledon Championships from 1934 to 1936 and becoming the first player in history to achieve a Grand Slam, earning him the title of "Britain's God of Tennis."
With the laurel wreath mark that is still inherited as its icon, the brand manufactured sweatbands and shirts as a tennis wear brand, captivating many tennis players. In the 1960s, led by Paul Weller, it also influenced musicians and street fashion, such as the Mods, Skinheads, and Casuals of the time. Many musicians still wear Fred Perry today.
