GANNI was launched in 2009 by husband-and-wife duo Ditte Reffstrup (creative director) and Nicolaj Reffstrup (founder) and is based in Copenhagen.The brand advocates a new Nordic style called "SCANDI 2.0."
Aiming to build a community, GANNI uses over 70% certified organic and recycled materials in its collections, striving to minimize its environmental footprint and contribute to society and the environment.
In September 2022, the brand achieved international certification as a "B Corp," evaluated based on the 17 goals represented by the SDGs.
In 2020, GANNI announced its "GANNI Gameplan," consisting of 44 items across four pillars: People (items related to gender equality, diversity, and inclusion), Planet (items related to the global environment), Product (items related to responsible production), and Prosperity (items related to building a sustainable fashion industry).
