GANNI is based in Copenhagen and was launched in 2009 by husband and wife duo Ditte Reffstrup (Creative Director) and Nicolaj Reffstrup (Founder).
They advocate for a new Scandinavian style called "SCANDI 2.0."
Aiming to build a community, the brand uses over 70% certified organic and recycled materials in its collections, striving to minimize its environmental footprint and contribute to society and the environment.
In September 2022, GANNI was evaluated based on 17 goals, including those represented by the SDGs, and obtained international B Corp certification.
In 2020, they established the "GANNI Gameplan," a framework of 44 items based on four pillars: People (items related to gender equality, diversity, inclusion, etc.), Planet (items related to the global environment), Product (items related to responsible production), and Prosperity (items related to building a sustainable fashion industry).
