GANNI was founded in Copenhagen in 2009 by husband and wife duo Ditte Reffstrup, Creative Director, and Nicolaj Reffstrup, Founder.
They advocate "SCANDI 2.0," a new Nordic style.
Aiming to build communities, the brand uses over 70% certified organic and recycled materials in its collections, striving to minimize its environmental footprint and contribute to society and the environment.
In September 2022, GANNI achieved B Corp certification, an international recognition based on an assessment against 17 goals, including those represented by the SDGs.
In 2020, they established the "GANNI Gameplan," consisting of 44 items across four pillars: People (items related to gender equality, diversity, inclusion, etc.), Planet (items related to the global environment), Product (items related to responsible production), and Prosperity (items related to building a sustainable fashion industry).
