In 1896, Conceria Guidi Rosellini (CONCERIA GUIDI ROSELLINI), the predecessor of GUIDI, was founded in Pescia, Tuscany by Guido Guidi, Giovanni Rosellini, and Gino Ulivo.
For over 100 years, Conceria Guidi Rosellini has established itself as a renowned tanning specialist in Italy, known to important designers worldwide, and trusted as the sole tanner capable of meeting their unique demands.
Ruggero Guidi, also a renowned tanner, dedicates his energy to creating new tanning techniques with a perfect balance of technology, utilizing his exceptional experience and tradition. As part of a traditional project, he launched the GUIDI collection in the Autumn/Winter 2005 season.
The passion for leather and tradition in Guidi's shoe project is what defines this endeavor.
Through his own research, transcending trends and fads, he creates shoes for those who desire unique items blended with tradition, rather than mass-produced goods.
