In 1896, Conceria Guidi Rosellini, the predecessor of GUIDI, was founded in Pescia, Tuscany, by Guido Guidi, Giovanni Rosellini, and Gino Ulivo.
For over 100 years, Conceria Guidi Rosellini has established itself as one of Italy's most renowned tanning specialists, well-known to important designers worldwide, and trusted as the only tannery capable of meeting their specific demands.
Ruggero Guidi, also a famous tanner, utilizes his exceptional experience and tradition, fully balancing them with technology to pour his energy into creating new tanning methods. As a traditional project, GUIDI's collection started in the Autumn/Winter 2005 season.
In Guidi's shoe project, passion for leather and tradition signify the essence of this endeavor.
Through his own research, transcending trends and tendencies, he creates shoes for those who desire unique items, blending tradition rather than mass production.
