In 1896, CONCERIA GUIDI ROSELLINI, the predecessor to GUIDI, was founded in Pescia, Tuscany by Guido Guidi, Giovanni Rosellini, and Gino Ulivo.
For over 100 years, CONCERIA GUIDI ROSELLINI has established itself as one of Italy's most renowned tanning specialists, known to important designers worldwide, and trusted as the only tannery capable of meeting their specific demands.
Ruggero Guidi, also a famous tanner, has devoted his energy to creating new tanning methods, utilizing his excellent experience and tradition in perfect balance with technology. As part of a traditional project, GUIDI's collection was launched in the Autumn/Winter 2005 season.
For GUIDI's shoe project, passion for leather and tradition are what give this project meaning.
Through his own research, transcending trends and tendencies, he creates shoes for those who desire unique items that blend tradition, rather than mass-produced goods.
