GUIDI is an Italian leather brand. In 1896, the company Conceria Guidi Rosellini, the predecessor of GUIDI, was established in Pescia, Tuscany, by Guido Guidi, Giovanni Rosellini, and Gino Ulivo. For over 100 years, Conceria Guidi Rosellini has established itself as a renowned tanning specialist in Italy, known to important designers worldwide, and is trusted as the only tannery capable of meeting their specific requirements. Ruggero Guidi, also a famous tanner, has channeled his energy into creating new tanning methods, utilizing his outstanding experience and tradition in perfect balance with technology. As a traditional project, the GUIDI collection was launched in the Autumn/Winter 2005 season. The passion for leather and tradition in Guidi's shoe project gives meaning to this endeavor. Through his own research, transcending trends and tendencies, he creates shoes for those who desire unique items that blend tradition, rather than mass production. Only an artisan can create such pieces; the comfortable fit, which causes no stress, is a unique privilege that only the owner can experience.
