This open-collar shirt is an updated version based on American vintage shirts from around the 1950s.
It incorporates details that were adopted at the time with an emphasis on production efficiency, such as the curved collar stand that fits around the neck, and chain stitching, which is rarely seen on vintage shirts.
The subtle difference in the seam allowance on the left and right sides is also one of the details that vintage enthusiasts appreciate today.
The fabric used is a broadcloth blend of cotton, rayon, and linen.
Fabric-covered buttons are used.
