KAIKO Home Crew "OFF WHITE"

This pilot jacket is based on the CWU-45, optimized as a "lounge wear" piece that can be worn casually every day. We intentionally removed unnecessary cigar pockets and hook-and-loop fasteners for civilian clothing, resulting in a minimalist finish. It features a rounded silhouette with dropped shoulders, designed for a relaxed balance. The zipper uses a YKK coil with a reverse application, and the pull tab uses rayon grosgrain tape. Additionally, a cord is inserted into the front edge, making it a mil-spec specification that doubles as stretch prevention and reinforcement. It uses 60g insulation, providing a relatively light and medium-weight feel, while incorporating insulation in all parts, including the flaps, collar, and pocket lining. It achieves insulation suitable for urban wear and a well-balanced weight for the entire product. Despite being a cut-and-sew material, #30 thread is used for stitching to create puckering easily, giving it a mil-spec-like appearance. Furthermore, by gathering and sewing each seam, we reproduce the texture of vintage clothing, as if it has been washed and tumble-dried, through pattern cutting and sewing techniques. The OFF WHITE uses 40/1 high-gauge gauze jersey + ribbing. By knitting it with a higher gauge than usual, it has firmness and body, adopting a stock material with an appearance similar to Technorama jersey.
