Sale price¥6,930

Born in the UK in 1938, KANGOL has shaped the framework of global street culture and the hip-hop scene. This is KANGOL's iconic and enduring Flat Cap.
Named after the original model number, the "Tropic 504 Ventair" smarty incorporates KANGOL's unique high-performance spring/summer textile into a traditional silhouette.
The beautiful cut frame of the "504" is a symbol of the brand.
This design, with its mesh-like knitted structure arranged around the crown, is an iconic style that proves KANGOL's identity.
The familiar kangaroo logo is embroidered, completing the framework of this traditional headwear.
The silhouette is KANGOL's proud, rounded, flowing low-profile hunting line.
This item functions as a strong hook for minimal top and bottom styling.

KANGOL

KANGOL was founded in 1938 by Jacques Spreiregen in Cleator, Cumbria, UK.
The company name and brand name "KANGOL" was derived from the materials used in hats: "K" from KNITTING, "ANG" from ANGORA, and "OL" from WOOL.
The brand started its history by manufacturing military berets and hats for the royal family.
It also ventured into the fashion industry, with luxury women's hats being particularly popular at the time, leading to increased recognition as a high-fashion item. In the 1960s, it collaborated with popular designers such as Mary Quant and Pierre Cardin, and adorned the heads of the Beatles, Arnold Palmer, and later, Princess Diana.
In the 1980s, when hip-hop culture emerged from New York, rappers and graffiti artists began wearing Kangol hats, leading to a huge boom.
It was at this time, in 1983, that the "Kangaroo mark," which has since become the brand's iconic symbol, was born in New York.
In 1992, Kangol launched fashion items other than hats in Japan, ahead of the rest of the world.
This had a tremendous influence on the street scene of the time, and Kangol became known as a street casual brand.
Since then, it has gained popularity among many celebrities and has become a globally popular brand.
With the fusion of British tradition and contemporary culture, Kangol continues to evolve.
