Mowalola is a brand founded in 2018 by Nigerian-born, London-based designer Mowalola Ogunlesi, named after herself.
"I don't want to be everyone's darling. If I lose myself, I'll just become a doll."
is her life's mantra.
The inspiration for her sleek and sensual style comes from pop culture icons Prince and André3000, and her sharp designs, reminiscent of African vibrancy, are inspired by various countercultures of the 1970s.
