NOCHINO OPTICAL
NOCHINO OPTICAL "Tsukiyomi" "#1 GLOSS BLACK × CLEAR to GREY"
A soft and understated Boston-type frame.
The small frame size is a multi-use silhouette that suits all ethnicities and genders.
Utilizes photochromic lenses that change color under UV light, one of the brand's iconic features.
Despite its thin plastic frame, it features adjustable nose pads (metal parts that allow for nose adjustment), which significantly impact comfort.
Specifications crafted with the skill of experienced artisans.
The nose pads, which are in contact with the skin for almost the entire day, are made of luxurious, allergy-free titanium.
Furthermore, by embedding high-temperature metal parts into the plastic frame, excessive metal parts are eliminated, and repairable components are carefully selected for semi-permanent use.
The rivets connecting the hinges are polished by skilled craftsmen, one by one, to the very end using a "togidashi" finishing method, where they are polished after being set into the plastic.
The 2-curve lenses, emblematic of NOCHINO OPTICAL, are neither flat nor a typical curved type; they have a beautiful curved surface reminiscent of old hand-cut glass lenses, exuding a luxurious feel with their shimmering surface.

NOCHINO OPTICAL
Not the full moon, but the moon just before it.The Japanese aesthetic that values the moon just before it reaches its fullness.
The beauty of incompleteness, the beauty of the unfinished, the beauty of negative space.
The thirteenth moon, the later moon.
We believe that it is precisely through incompleteness that things appear which cannot be expressed by completeness or satisfaction.
By beautifying incompleteness, we allow people to feel the beauty of satisfaction.
Eyeglasses, like the thirteenth moon or the later moon, are incomplete at the moment they leave the artisan's hands.
We offer our products as the thirteenth moon.
In the Heian period, when The Tale of Genji was born, it was a pastime of the nobility to keenly feel the seasons and wear colors "appropriate for the season," incorporating them into their daily lives.
Today, we enjoy the pastime of wearing colors appropriate for the season, and our products are completed when they harmonize with each unique owner.
