Amidst a variety of garments like hard shells and soft shells, we believe that lightweight feel and breathability are essential for year-round convenience.
The softshell storm jacket "BARTHLOTTO JACKET" is one of O-'s signature garments.
To maximize the water repellency of this material while keeping it lightweight, the two designers repeatedly experimented and arrived at an O- original design that allows the garment body to be formed with "only a single piece of pattern."
The seams have been simplified to the absolute minimum necessary, and fabric is sewn together as much as possible in areas where rain and wind are less likely to penetrate, such as the inside of the sleeves and underarms.
This eliminates the need for waterproof specifications like seam tape found in conventional shell garments, and also resolves concerns about the decline in shell garment functionality due to the aging of seam tape.
The detachable hood, which can be easily removed with snap buttons, transforms into a face guard that performs effectively in bad weather, protecting against rain and wind while ensuring visibility.
From the original materials and patterns uniquely developed by O- for this garment to the sewing methods and even each individual part, everything has been carefully selected to be optimal.
