"Hyori Ittai" (two sides of the same coin) means "the relationship between two things is so close and inseparable, like the front and back." With DUAL LTR, the lining of the product is the grain side of the leather.
The beautiful cowhide, tanned by a tanner beloved by the world's top luxury brands, is incredibly smooth, so it can be treated like a garment lining, meaning the leather is used inside out. So, what about the surface of the product, which is the back of the leather?
You might mistake it for suede, but it's not suede processing; it's the raw back of the leather. The more beautiful the grain side of the leather, the more beautiful its back side.
Truly "Hyori Ittai."
This design, combining practicality and beauty, could only be achieved with this leather. When worn, you'll notice that the left and right hem lengths are different. Upon closer inspection, you'll see it's a design where two iconic denim jackets have been torn apart and then reattached in the middle. Here too, the beauty of distortion created by "two close and inseparable relationships" is embedded.
