Founded in 2004 by the Inoue brothers, who were born in Copenhagen, Denmark.They pursue uncompromising ideals while maintaining a thoroughly open perspective, and by building strong ties with various indigenous heritages, cultures, and communities skilled in handicrafts, they aim to generate public interest in responsible production methods through quality and design in each project.

Satoru Inoue learned practical graphic design through an internship at an advertising agency, and a few years later, became an art director.
Kiyoshi Inoue became the youngest art director ever at "Vidal Sassoon," a global authority in the beauty industry.
In 2014, the brothers formed the art studio "THE INOUE BROTHERS...".
