gicipi Maggiore "WHITE"

Sale price¥5,280

This basic tank top is made from gicipi's classic "Scozia" fabric, which uses 60-count double-twisted yarn that has been mercerized during the knitting process.
It has a smooth, silk-like feel and an elegant, subtle sheen.
Since the surface down of the yarn is removed in advance, it is a very pleasant fabric to the touch.
It is also characterized by its resistance to losing its shape due to the use of high-quality cotton that is soft yet firm.
The body width, neck, and armholes are all finished with a precisely calculated pattern balance.

Gicipi

Gicipi began as the original brand of Maglificio Gicipi, founded in 1948.
The company has its own factory in the town of PADOVA in northern Italy, where vintage machines have been in active use for nearly 70 years.
Since its founding, Gicipi has focused on "natural fibers" that prioritize comfort and "quality-first" manufacturing that is careful and precise.
Padova has long flourished as a production base for apparel products, with many factories producing suits, outerwear, knits, innerwear, pants, jeans, shoes, glasses, and more, all boasting world-class quality.
Gicipi is an integrated factory, a rare existence today, that handles everything from fabric knitting to pattern making, cutting, sewing, dyeing, and finishing all in-house.
By maintaining this integrated production, they can closely manage quality and delivery times, allowing them to continue offering high-quality products at affordable prices, just as they did when they were founded.
Currently, the variety of yarns they handle has increased, and they are now producing products from cotton to all types of wool, silk, linen, and other fibers.
They no longer subcontract for external brands and instead sell their own brand products to department stores and specialty lingerie shops in Italy.
