HOPP is a Swedish word meaning "bounce."
Launched in 2016, HOPP is a New York-based women's footwear brand offering fashion-inspired designs.
A key feature of HOPP is that each shoe incorporates elements of true comfort footwear.
Our research shows that 84% of women suffer from foot discomfort due to their shoes.
HOPP manufactures shoes with comfort-enhancing technologies, including lightweight, flexible custom soles made of rubber or molded polyurethane, custom-molded heels, and padded footliners and insoles.
As a busy, on-the-go working mother and veteran fashion designer, founder Ellie Kim was looking for shoes that were clean, stylish, feather-light, affordable, and suitable for everyday wear.
Longing for vintage comfort shoes but wanting a more modern style, Ellie decided to launch HOPP.
Now in its ninth year, HOPP continues to pursue thoughtful, versatile, and timeless designs focused on comfort and functionality, as well as sustainable and ethical manufacturing methods, incorporating recyclable and biodegradable materials and other innovative alternatives, collaborating with small factories, and producing in small batches on a slow schedule.
